What's great about the Northwest

The Northwest is a land of sparkling lakes, snowcapped mountains, mild weather and fun hikes. While we are here, we like visiting Snoqualmie falls. Walk to the bottom of the falls and climb onto the rocks (not recommended without adult supervision). We also like to go up to Mount Rainier and climb as far as we can once we get to Paradise. Of course, you should visit Mount St. Helen if it is open and take a helicopter ride into the volcano. We enjoy taking a ride on the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge island with our car and driving towards the Olympic Peninsula flanked on either side by the Puget Sound. Victoria is a short trip from Seattle - we don't recommend the fast boat. It tends to make you seasick. Instead, take the slow ferry and enjoy the journey.
